Listening Two

The world is full of great podcasts, and we’ll be sure to remind you that even we can also do a good one from time to time. However, when we are not podcasting there is always something else entertaining out there that deserves a listen. So, if over the weekend you find yourself with some time to spare then why not stick these on you iPod (or your other significantly cheaper, not quite as cool, less likely to get robbed, but still ok mp3 player of choice) to wile the weekend blues away. Oh, and by the we refuse to include 1up Yours on this list as you should already know about by now. If not there is something very wrong with you.

Crash FM has been on the go since August of last year, and for those interested in all things Burnout there is no better place to go for info. If you have not checked out the podcast before then there is no better time to jump in than Episode 13, as it is their longest podcast ever (with two parts totaling almost three hours!), and they apparently also answer EVERY letter that has been sent to their Mailbag. If that is not enough for you then Alex Ward will tell you why you should like Burnout Paradise even though it does not have offline MP. Alex Ward will also tell you why you should throw away 4:3 TV (although I would tell you that too if you still have one). Furthermore, Alex Ward will also tell you why having no retry feature in Burnout Paradise is a good thing! So, if you like come candid, albeit a bit condescending info on Burnout then you now know where to go!

They have certainly taken their time, but finally after countless games (one which reaches about 9,000,000,000,000,000 people) Blizzard have finally taken the time to sit down a record a podcast. Blizzcast may not the greatest podcast ever, some of the background music may be a bit annoying, and it may be a bit short, but still, it is nice to hear some of the thoughts from inside the developing giant. Oh, and we will let them away with the few problems seeing as it is their first podcast ever. For Episode One the main point of focus for Blizzcast is a chat with the company’s art Director and concept artist, and the man behind stuff such as Pandaren, Fel Orcs, Dark Templars, Zerglings. If any of those words made sense to you then go spend 21 minutes of your life and listen to it now!
