EA To Bring The Godfather To Wii and PS3

EA along with Paramount Digital Entertainment have announced they will be bringing two new versions of The Godfather to the worlds most recently released consoles. Firstly is The Godfather: The Don’s Edition for PlayStation 3 and then The Godfather: Blackhand Edition for the Wii.

The Godfather: The Don’s Edition boasts the new gameplay and missions found in The Corleone Expansion Pack of the 360 already available on the Blu-ray. The game will also apparently take advantage of the Sixaxis controller’s tilt sensing capabilities letting gamers manhandle the in-game characters.

The Godfather: Blackhand Edition on the Wii will of course offer motion-based control to convert player movement into actions in the game. EA are also promising the game will offer “pinpoint firearm accuracy“, using the Wii-mote to take aim.

Both titles are in development at EA Redwood Shores and are scheduled for release in March.
