EA Label PS3 And 360 The ‘Wrong Horse’

Next-Gen.biz
are reporting that Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello has commented that he believe EA was “on the wrong horse” when they opted to focus most of their efforts on the Xbox 360 and PS3 over the course of the console transition period which has been happening for the last year. He went on to say that he thought the 2007 fiscal was “the toughest year in the company’s history.

[The last transition] was tough because we typically have two to three platforms and a five year period… One of the biggest challenges, of course, was that not a lot of people anticipated the success of Nintendo that they’ve shown with their wand controller and their Wii. That got ahead of us a little more than our expectations,” he concluded.
