Bethesda’s Brink coming Spring 2010, teased in short trailer

Brink, Splash Damage’s new game to be published by Bethesda, has been revealed with a very short teaser trailer. Unfortunately, the trailer gives us nothing much to analyse, only giving a vague idea of the game’s setting.

Back in early May, before the game was revealed, Bethesda’s Managing Director Sean Brennan said: “We’ve signed the Splash Damage deal, and its first title with us is going to be shown at E3. We’re not announcing the name yet, but it’s a first-person shooter.

That’s a product that we believe is a genre-breaker, it’s a real killer app. From a quality perspective we’re pitching that along the same lines as Fallout 3. We’ve kept it under lock and key, there are so many innovative features in there we don’t want to reveal them too soon. We’ve spent significant resources developing the title. And that’s a great example of our European work.

The end of the trailer reveals the game will be PS3, 360, and PC bound in Spring 2010, so I guess that is worth getting excited about.
