Arkham City

Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition coming next month

To the collective fans of major comic universes DC and Marvel, right now must feel the best birthday gift ever. Not only are the two most anticipated comic movies ever – hello, The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises – coming out this summer, critical darling Batman: Arkham City is getting the same Game of the Year Edition as Arkham Asylum. Arkham City:GOTY Edition will not only have all previously released DLC content, but a new storyline centering on Harley Quinn that features several new hours of gameplay and the conclusion of the dark comedy queen’s storyline within the game.

Batman: Arkham City GOTY edition includes the Nightwing, Catwoman, and Robin DLC; a voucher to download the animated film Batman: Year One; the Harley Quinn’s Revenge new storyline and content; and the Arkham City skin and challenge map pack.

Arkham Asylum’s GOTY edition was an incredible deal and added re-playability to what is still one of my favorite games; considering that Arkham City’s GOTY edition has all the DLC and new content (be honest – you love Harley Quinn), it’s almost a guarantee that this edition justifies another trip back to Gotham.

Batman: Arkham City GOTY edition releases May 29th in the U.S. and Internationally for PS3 and X-box 360. For more information and the game’s trailer, check out Rocksteady’s official Arkham City: GOTY Edition website here: http://community.batmanarkhamcity.com/#
