Microsoft announce loads of XBLA games – Metal Slug 7, Space Invaders and more

During their TGS conference Microsoft has bolstered their XBLA line-up by announcing a collection of games for the platform.

The announcement should make fans of shooters very happy, as R-Type, Arkanoid, Metal Slug 7 and Space Invaders Extreme were revealed. For fans of fighters the announcement of King of Fighters Ultimate 98 should make them smile to.

The games will all be available to download sometime in the future, but no solid date was given for any of them. Also, as with many XBLA releases, many of the games will have co-op play over Xbox Live.
