New Earthworm Jim game planned

Interplay has announced that they will be reviving their Earthworm Jim franchise, and will be developing another game in the series in the future. At the moment the game goes solely by the name Earthworm Jim 4, with no date or platform revealed as of yet. Earthworm Jim creator Douglas TenNapel will once again jump aboard as a creative consultant to help in development of the game.

In previous years the Earthworm Jim games have made an appearance on many different platforms, such as the Megadrive, SNES, N64, PC, and the GameBoy Colour, with the ones helmed by Shiny Entertainment regarded as top of the bunch. In addition, if you like a bit of useless information you might like to know Dan Castellaneta, the voice of Homer in The Simpsons voiced the character in the cartoon.

Hopefully we’ll get to launch a cow skyward again. That was just groovy!
