Jack Thompson Could Serve Jail Time
The all round great guys at Take-Two Interactive have got their lawyers to file a motion to have Jack Thompson declared in contempt of court. The motion requests that Judge Ronald Friendman – the same Judge who sat on the hearing overseeing Thompson’s failed attempt to have Bully banned in the US – order the Florida lawyer to appear in court and defend himself against the contempt allegation.
The fun part is that if good old JT is found in contempt, he could face anything from fines, to censure or even jail time. Of course as you would expect Thompson does not like this and did the unthinkable….he EMAILED people, sending angry emails to the attorneys and judge and CCed them to GamePolitics.
The email read “You want to play hardball…? You want to try to throw me in jail? You have no idea what you are unleashing in doing this. You’re at the brink…” It continued “If this court in any fashion proceeds toward issuing a show cause order, given its utter baselessness and the bad faith goo in which it slithers, then Thompson will add whatever judge should do so as a defendant in the aforementioned federal civil rights action...”
Wow, those emails sure sound angry! But how could JT be so angry and violent if he does not play games to corrupt his mind?
