Dem-OH! January Round-up
What a crazy start to the year – hard to believe we’re already in February!! Starting off with lots of travelling, meeting up with friends, and, unfortunately, puking everywhere 🙃
Being illout of nowhere has certainly slowed the demos this month but we’re more than going to make up for it with the Steam #NextFest this month ♥️
But first, let’s look back at the success of last year, with a total of 574 demos played! Amazing! Here’s to another year of teetering on the fringe of gaming and exploring the vast expanse of new experiences coming out every day 🥂
Stand-Out Demos
(in recording order)
What a bizarre and unique experience – mixing horror and puzzle elements to the time-looping and mask-collection mechanics from the greatest Zelda title ever created, Majora’s Mask. This 2D black and white adventure game had me both frightened about what would happen next within this otherwordly setting populated with surreal inhabitants, and deeply curious about what the heck was even going on, ushering me forward even through the fear of not just the unknown, but the unknowable.
