1 vs 100 has 200,000 players a day

Microsoft has revealed some impressive stats today, showing that their scheduled Xbox Live gameshow, 1 vs 100 is pulling in 200,000 European players every day. The biggest daily attendance ever for the region was 215,000, whilst America topped that at 230,000.

Together the UK and Ireland have managed a record so far of 79,000 simultaneous players (probably on the launch night), but of course the US is ahead again with a whopping 114,000 concurrent users.

The 1 vs 100 client has been downloaded over 2.5 million times since the beginning of the beta, and the first proper season should hopefully be starting in September.

Regular listeners to our podcast will know that we were initially wowed by the concept of 1 vs 100, but the shine soon wore off when we realised the questions (in the Live shows at least) were aimed at your average Xbox Live gamer, who happens to have a brain that’s smaller than Peter Andre’s talent.
