Eidos Announce Ouendan Style Looney Toons DS Game

Eidos have announced that they will be bringing Looney Tunes: Cartoon Concerto, a rhythm action game that looks very similar to Elite Beat Agents to the DS. The game will supposedly recreate famous scenes from Looney Tunes cartoon scenes featuring infamous characters such as Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, Sylvester the Cat and Tweety. However, it is currently unknown what music will be used to team up with these scenes. The game will debut in June of this year.

“This is a game for absolutely everybody who enjoys simple but addictive gameplay,” said Richard Lassiter, Brand Manager for Eidos. “The DS is the perfect console for this type of pick-up-and-play game, and Looney Tunes: Cartoon Concerto is the best way to relive those classic Looney Tunes moments.”

We’d like to say they ripped iNiS’ games of, but to be quite honest it is exciting to hear that more Ouendan / Elite Beat Agents style games are coming to the DS. Furthermore, if they do it right then it could be another very impressive game to the DS’ library.
