The News We Missed This Week

Each and every week DarkZero strives to bring you as much news as a small group of volunteers can, but we can’t get everything. With that in mind each and every Sunday we bring you an article containing five random news items we missed throughout the week, if you missed last week’s it’s here, if not read on.

SF5

Street Fighter V’s next closed beta has been detailed. It will be a global beta, for PS4 and PC, going live on October 22nd and lasting until the 25th. Ken, Necalli, Vega, and Rainbow Mika will make up the beta’s roster, but Rashid will be added on the 23rd and Karin on the 24th. Characters from the previous beta will not appear in the new one, which means no Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, Birdie, Nash, or M. Bison.

Far Cry Primal was announced and it’s only a stone’s throw away. Player’s will pick up a spear and hunt everything from sabretooth tigers to mammoths as they play as Takkar, who happens to be voiced by the same guy that plays Adam Jenson in Deus Ex. Survival is key in this Stone Age setting so crafting tools and weapons will be just as essential as taking over Far Cry’s signature outposts. You can expect to play Far Cry Primal on your Xbox One or PS4 on the 23rd of February 2016, but PC players will have to wait until March 2016.

Kanye West doesn’t like microtransactions (it was a slow news week), here’s what he had to say on the topic over on Twitter: “F#*! Any game company that puts in-app purchases on kids games!!! That makes no sense!!! We give the iPad to our child and every five minutes there’s a new purchase!!! If a game is made for a two year old, just allow them to have fun and give the parents a break for Christ sake.” If we can take anything away from this it’s that Kanye is quite liberal with his explanation marks!!!

There’s a new Just Cause 3 trailer and it looks pretty snazzy. Go ahead see for yourself.

Lastly according to Neilson’s Game Rank Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is holiday 2015s most anticipated multiplatform game. It even beats Fallout 4 and Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate.

That is that, five pieces of news DarkZero missed throughout the week. Make sure you check back next Sunday for the five news items we’ll more than likely miss next week!
