Skyhill, the survival rogue-like by Daedalic Entertainment and Mandragora, is now available for iOS. Apart from carefully revamped controls iPad and iPhone users can look forward to brand new content like a fourth ending completely based on a fan idea. In tandem with the iOS release, there will be a Skyhill update on GOG and Steam, so PC players can enjoy the new content, too. In addition, a cloud saving system will be integrated so players can enjoy Skyhill on different devices with the same save files. The mobile Android version will soon be released as well.

Paragon

Today Epic Games announced Lt. Belica as the next Hero coming to its free to play MOBA, Paragon. She’s a burst caster who locks down lanes and will eliminate those who challenge the law; she’ll be playable for free as part of a game update hitting on Tuesday, September 13.

Convicted Galaxy

Convicted Galaxy has just been submitted to Steam Greenlight. The game – you start with nothing but a basic escape ship in an uncharted Solar System in an Unknown galaxy, and need to find a way to survive – and find your way out. Along the way you build stations around planets to serve as your home base and upgrade your ship’s warp capabilities, but you’re not alone and will have to defend yourself from others who have been released into the galaxy.

Armored Warfare

Obsidian Entertainment and global publisher My.com announce the brand new Global Operations mode for Armored Warfare. Global Operations will change the theatre of war by adding the biggest maps the game has seen to date. These maps are fully interactive with overhead surveillance drones, stealth bombers and static anti-tank turrets functioning as a third party support for each of the competing teams, if they find the right tactics to use them to their advantage. Global Operations is an exciting new game mode for the genre and fuses the PvE and PvP game modes together in a unique and explosive mix.

Torment: Tides of Numenera

Today inXile Entertainment and Techland Publishing have released a deep-dive video that lets players take a look into the fascinating setting behind the upcoming RPG science- fantasy epic, Torment: Tides of Numenera. The game is developed by many of the same members who worked on the original and much acclaimed RPG classic Planescape: Torment. Torment: Tides of Numenera takes place in the extensive world of Numenera, a science-fantasy rich setting created by roleplaying game legend, Monte Cook. The game is set a billion years in the future, in a place called the Ninth World where eight previous civilizations have risen and fallen. What remains of humankind is trying to come to grips with all the mysterious and often deadly technology – known collectively as numenera – that these past civilizations have left behind. It is in this turbulent world that players are dropped into literally head first.

Star Crusade

Independent developer ZiMAD today announced that its free-to-play, online collectible card game (CCG), Star Crusade: War for the Expanse is now available on Steam and iOS, and is expected to hit Android devices soon. Star Crusade puts players in control of six mighty factions, all vying for control of the galaxy. The game is fully cross-compatible and allows playing from the same account on any device.
