Paradox Interactive, a publisher and developer of games that tell human interest stories, today released a new Species Pack for Stellaris, the sci-fi grand strategy game from Paradox Development Studio. “Humanoids Species Pack,” available today for a suggested retail price of $7.99 on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs, includes a wealth of new cosmetic content for ambitious galactic rulers. With new species portraits, ship models, music tracks, and voice sets for VIR, The Humanoids Species Pack provides more variety and character to Stellaris’ most-played phenotype, inspired by the classics of Western science fiction.

Independent developer Sloclap and the martial artists of Devolver Digital have released online combat brawler Absolver’s biggest update since launch (1.11) headlined by the new 3v3 Overtake mode and a slew of new character customisation and PvP features. The new update is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC alongside a limited time promotional sale on Steam and the PlayStation Store (North and South America) to celebrate the new Absolver expansion.

Running Friday, 8th December, 2017, through Tuesday, 2nd January, 2018, Winter Siege delivers an array of activities and content for free to all Call of Duty: WWII players for a limited time. The Winter Siege features a new, frost-covered Winter Carentan multiplayer map, the return of the Gun Game party mode, Double XP Playlists, a winterised Headquarters with new visiting Quartermaster as well as new Winter Siege Supply Drops delivering new, limited edition winter gear and content to players. LOST SPHEAR

Square Enix today announced that players can experience the power of Memory in a brand-new demo for LOST SPHEAR, the second title from Tokyo RPG Factory. The free demo is now available on the Nintendo Switch from the Nintendo eShop, the PlayStation 4 from the PlayStation Store and STEAM.

Marble Land

Independent developer Devious Technologies, in partnership with Carbon Incubator, today announced that their physics-based puzzle title Marble Land is available now on Steam for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive, with a Gear VR version coming to digital stores later this month. In Marble Land, players immerse themselves in an alien world where they take control of grandiose gadgets, reminiscent of Rube Goldberg devices, in order to guide the blue marble to safety.

Bandai Namco has released two trailers for Gundam Versus.

Ubisoft has released a new developer diary for Beyond Good and Evil 2 providing an update on the game’s ships and crews.

Bleed 

Digerati Distribution, in partnership with Bootdisk Revolution and Nephilim Game Studio announce heroic indie hit Bleed will be air-dashing and bullet-dodging its way to Nintendo Switch. The hyperactive action-platformer – which features Story, Arcade and Challenge modes available to play solo or in 2-player local co-op – will release in a flurry of pink-haired fury next week, Thursday 14 December.

Immortal Thrones

Game publisher Zloong announced today that the largest update thus far to their hit mobile game, Immortal Thrones, is now live. Immortal Thrones is a 3D MMORPG set in a richly detailed medieval fantasy world. In addition to the immersive setting, the game offers real-time state and world war mechanisms.

Otome Hero will launch in Japan in December for iOS and Android.

Legrand Legacy

Legrand Legacy, the nostalgic love letter to classic JRPGs from publisher Another Indie and developer SEMISOFT, will arrive on Steam for Windows on 24 January, 2018. Legrand Legacy will release on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in Q1 2019.
