505 Games and Variable State today released a new cinematic trailer for VIRGINIA, the interactive mystery game, launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC and Apple macOS via Steam, on September 22, 2016. After sparking online chatter with VIRGINIA’s cryptic and haunting playable demo, next up is a new trailer that highlights the game’s cinematic presentation. Captured from real-time gameplay, the trailer offers a new look at VIRGINIA in motion, featuring some of the beautiful locations and memorable characters that players will encounter as they delve deeper into the mysteries contained within.

The video features scenes of the work in the recording studio and indicates how the mutual goal of the perfect voiceover is pursued. Viewers also get so see and hear Milan Pingel, the lead designer of Space Rift – Episode 1, who is, in particular, responsible for the cinematic story and the narrative design of the VR space adventure. In the recording studio, he’s in charge of giving clear instructions to the voice actors, so that they can come as close as possible to his vision of how the characters should be acting in the game. But, he is also drawing inspiration from spontaneous ideas by the voice actors and keeps an open mind. These ideas might even add more suitable characteristic traits to a certain character.

Since May 2016 virtual ship owners have been busy competing for predominance on the seven seas with TransOcean 2: Rivals, now publisher astragon Entertainment and developer Deck13 Hamburg are ready to release a new update that will enhance the game’s single-player endless mode by adding several interesting features. Ambitious captains with the goal of having their fleet transport large amounts of cargo effectively will now be able to sign lucrative company contracts. These contracts can be signed at the beginning of each month with businesses in regions where the player owns at least one subsidiary. As there will be a huge quantity of goods that needs to be shipped from A to B within a certain amount of time, the ship owner should always keep in mind to assign several ships of his fleet at once to fulfill this contract.
