Trailer Attack: 6th April 2016 – Welkin collect the ball & bus

This day in 2012, America finally got the awesome Xenoblade Chronicles for Wii, while right now, Video Games Live is in Calgary, Canada, blasting out some great video game tunes. For me, and most other people, it’s Wednesday 6th April, 2016, and some games have trailers that need to be watched.

The Banner Saga 2.

Versus Evil launched their new pre-release trailer for The Banner Saga 2. The Banner Saga 2 is the exciting sequel to the award winning, BAFTA nominated, indie hit The Banner Saga, an epic Viking role-playing strategy game where a player’s choice directly affects their personal journey. The console versions of the game are set to launch this summer,while The Banner Saga 2 for PC will launch on Tuesday 19th April, 2016

Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced a patch for Dragon Ball Z Extreme Butoden. Available from the 7th of April, this update will bring with it a ton of exciting new content. Among this, 3 new game modes have been revealed: Training Mode: which allows players to practice, Online Battle Mode: to join network battle and Extreme Survival Mode: a mode for fighting opponents at the highest level possible.

Kill to Collect

Pieces Interactive today announced the launch of Kill to Collect, an action-packed, 80’s cyberpunk rogue-like with up to four-player online co-op. The game is now available on Steam at a discounted launch price of $14.99/£11.24 for a limited time only.

Campus Notes – forget me not

Campus Notes -forget me not. is set in the University of Tsukuba, a National university that is the focus of Tsukuba Science City. After bumping into a mysterious girl, Yuta Kiriha finds himself trapped in a situation where the people around him routinely forget him each day. The story centers around his attempts to solve this case with a group of friends who are in the same boat. The game is available now for PC via Steam

Kim

Launching later this year on PS4 and Steam, sci-fi, action-platform game Kim from We The Force will have you play a Kim The Avenger Cow, where you get to shoot hillbillies, government agents and evil sheep with Grade A milk via a customized milk gun. You goal is to lead cow kind to overthrow mankind.

Rocketbirds 2: Evolution

Assemble the troops and prepare for penguin war! Ratloop Asia announced today that Rocketbirds 2: Evolution, the sequel go  Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, is flocking exclusively to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.

Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games

A new trailer from Nintendo shows the Mii Training in Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. Sonic and a host of other fan-favourite characters go for gold in dozens of exciting sporting events in Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, arriving on Nintendo 3DS family systems across Europe on 8th April. Set in Rio de Janeiro, host city of the Games of the XXXI Olympiad, the latest instalment of the series features 14 Olympic disciplines, as well as 14 special Plus events that put a unique Mario and Sonic twist on the athletic action.

Armored Warfare

Obsidian Entertainment and global publisher My.com invite players to join the festivities in Armored Warfare. Running from April 6-30, Panzerfest will introduce events and gifts for current and aspiring tank Commanders alike. Panzerfest is the festival name for three separately named activities running during April.  April 6-30 – Panzer Welcome Package – Brand-new tank commanders, who enlist during this period, will receive a free Leopard 1 tank and premium time upon entering the game. April 6-13 – Panzer Madness – Existing and new players can earn 1 million credits, premium time, and the Leopard 2AV ICE edition for successfully playing the game. April 14-30 – Panzer Showdown – Join your favorite German faction and earn rewards by helping your selected faction to victory

Healer’s Quest 

Just announced in time for World Health Day (April 7th), Healer’s Quest is a lighthearted RPG for PC in which you play solely as the healer of a ragtag bunch of unfocused, greedy and highly amoral adventurers. The only match to their (very lacking) skills is their lousy temperament. They will rush head-first into desperate combats, fall into the most obvious traps, get cursed, poisoned, paralysed, vampirized, or – even – killed. It is up to you to ensure they will endure the most grievous wounds and survive their ordeals, in spite of their cripling noobishness. Healer’s Quest will be on On Kickstarter and Steam Greenlight tomorrow for World Health Day.

Scéal

First trailer for Scéal,  a narrative-driven game, rooted in Irish folklore. Set in a watercolour world reminiscent of classic games like Okami, players play as a little girl who dies and returns as a spirit with no memory of the past. The girl is destined to wander the earth for all eternity unless she can provide the mysterious Raven of the Dead details of the life she once lived.

MU LEGEND

WEBZEN today released a class overview and gameplay video about its upcoming MMORPG titled MU LEGEND.

Bus Simulator 16

In Bus Simulator 16 the player slips into the role of a bus company owner in the city of Sunny Springs. Thanks to the new DLC, players will not only have access to the 6 originally modeled city buses of the main game, but will also have the opportunity to sit behind the steering wheel of an official licensed MAN Lion’s City A 47 M. Quantum Break

Microsoft shows off the awards for in this latest Quantum Break trailer. Microsoft did not send us a copy of the game to review, so cannot comment on how good the game is, so I’ll let all these other places tell you their story instead. Is it actually this good? Who knows…
