Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration
Crystal Dynamics today released the Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration Gamescom theatre demo. In Rise of the Tomb Raider, Lara becomes more than a survivor, and embarks on her first Tomb Raiding expedition in search of the secret of immortality. She’ll explore a vast and hostile world, engage in guerilla combat, and discover deadly tombs.
Persona 5
Atlus has released a new video of Persona 5 showing the protagonist chilling on a train reading something. Persona 5 is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on September 15, 2016 in Japan, and on February 14, 2017, in Europe.
Black Desert Online
Kakao Games announced that the second part of the Valencia Expansion as well as the first class Awakening are both coming to Black Desert Online today. With the Valencia Part Two Expansion, players will be able to journey to Muiquun, the Land of Outlaws. This abandoned town, in the middle of the Cantusa Desert, is rumored to be the home of the infamous Muiquun gang and other lawbreakers, who drove Muiqunn’s original inhabitants away. Players looking for a safer area in the desert regions can stop by Arehaza, a small fishing community located east of the Great Valencian Desert, which has a port where adventurers can trade goods or transport supplies.
WWE 2K17
In the final instalment of WWE 2K17’s Suplex City Census, 25 WWE Superstar residents of the Industrial District – the last of the five neighbourhoods in Suplex City – have been announced for inclusion in the forthcoming franchise’s worldwide release on October 11, 2016. The instalment brings the following Superstars to WWE 2K17’s extensive roster: Asuka, Bayley, Big Boss Man, Buddy Murphy, Cactus Jack, Dean Ambrose, Diesel, Dude Love, Dusty Rhodes, Jack Swagger, John Cena, Kane, Kevin Nash, Kevin Owens, Lex Luger, Luke Harper, Mankind, Road Dogg, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Undertaker, Vader and Wesley Blake.
Cloud Pirates
Developer Allods Team and global publisher My.com announce their new action multiplayer game Cloud Pirates. Accompanying this announcement is a first look video and open registration to the Closed Beta on the official website. Players can take command of a customizable airship and navigate the clouds to take part in exciting, fast-paced aerial battles. In Cloud Pirates, captains can blaze through science-fiction fantasy battlefields and cooperate with their squadron to outgun or outsmart the rivaling team.
Call of Duty: Black Ops III

Woven takes place in a world consisting solely out of wool, cotton and fabrics, you control a mysterious little metal robot named Glitch and his friend Stuffy, a stuffed animal in the shape of an elephant. Together you set out to unravel the mystery of Glitch’s origin and discover things both amazing and terrifying.
The Bunker
The Bunker is a completely live-action video game for PS4, starring Adam Brown (The Hobbit) and Sarah Greene (Penny Dreadful) with a story written and developed by gaming talent behind The Witcher, Broken Sword, and SOMA.
Stronghold Kingdoms
Today Firefly Studios becomes the first developer to place the fate of entire game worlds in the hands of its players. The Stronghold developer announced that their ‘Final Age’ expansion for medieval castle MMO Stronghold Kingdoms will give a single player, the Marshall of a winning House, the option end their game world with the press of a single button. While the Sixth Age is already available, the Final Age expansion is set for release in the near future. Meanwhile Firefly is responding to one particular request from the community by developing a new in-game event system, offering global PvE and PvP challenges in which players compete for rewards. There are even new world types on the horizon to replace the old and give all players the opportunity for a fresh start in new and uncharted lands.
EVE Online
Today CCP Games announced that a Clone States feature will be added to EVE Online in a big November 2016 expansion which will do away with trial accounts and allow any past, present, or future players join the EVE universe and fly amongst its thousands of solar systems and wormholes for free, forever
Mars Odyssey
Steel Wool Studios – an independent VR development studio formed by creative veterans of Pixar Animation Studios, Lucasfilm, and Telltale Games – today announced that it has raised $5 million in Series A funding from HTC Corporation. The funding will support development of multiple medium-pushing VR projects already underway, which span game, simulation, and narrative-based concepts. The first of these upcoming projects, interactive simulation Mars Odyssey, will launch on Steam on September 9. In April, the studio launched Quar: Battle for Gate 18, an action strategy title, on Steam for the HTC Vive.
Tiny Troopers Joint Ops
Wired Productions, an independent games publisher, announce today that Tiny Troopers Joint Ops – the bite-size, twin-stick arcade shooter developed by Kukouri Mobile Entertainment – will benefit from a fresh and exclusive Zombie Campaign DLC for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita on September 27.
