Looks like a certain someone accidentally let loose the surprise announcement for the launch date of Final Fantasy XV, which is, by the way, out September 30th, 2016. Feels like that long journey of development and Versus hell is finally coming to an end. But, today is Wednesday 30th March, 2016, which means more trailers….lots more trailers.

Tokyo 42

Tokyo 42 is the lovechild of Syndicate and GTA 1. Set in a future Tokyo, the game will see you become an assassin and uncover a dark conspiracy that will effect everyone.With open-world single player and competitive multiplayer, you will buy and use a host of weapons and tools to approach the many challenges of this beautiful little world..oh and it has cats!

Homefront: The Revolution 

Homefront: The Revolution is an open-world first person shooter where you must lead the Resistance movement in guerrilla warfare against a superior military force. Playing as freedom fighter Ethan Brady, the ultimate goal in Homefront is to inspire the people to rise up against the brutal military occupation and ignite the revolution. ‘Hearts and Minds’ represents the state of uprising across the oppressed Yellow Zones of occupied Philadelphia, and will increase as the player performs acts of resistance, such as destroying KPA infrastructure.

Street Fighter V

Star Fox Zero

Nintendo did a speedy barrel roll and released a short Star Fox Zero trailer. Not long until it hits on April 22, 2016!

Super Mario Maker

Super Mario Maker keeps on giving. The next costume has been revealed in Japan and it’s one of Nintendo’s lesser known heroes, Starfy, from The Legendary Starfy series.

Odin Sphere Leifthrasir,

Two new trailers for Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, the 2D sidescrolling action RPG, steeped in Norse mythology. The new game is a complete HD remake of the original PS2 classic Odin Sphere from Vanillaware, the team behind the hit side-scrolling action game Dragon’s Crown and Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Odin Sphere Leifthrasir will be coming to Europe in Summer 2016 as a physical and digital release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita.

The Gallery

Delve into the mystery on April 5 when The Gallery: Episode 1 — Call of the Starseed launches on Steam for the HTC Vive. The Gallery is a first-person narrative adventure, built from the ground up for VR. Developed by Cloudhead Games, a studio made up of AAA developers who have worked on titles for companies like Bioware, Relic, Riot and EA. The Gallery channels inspiration from dark fantasy adventure films of the 1980s such as Goonies or Labyrinth, filled with environments and mechanics specifically crafted for virtual reality with full motion-control and room-scale.

Shadow of the Beast

A behind the scenes look at the upcoming Shadow of the Beast. Nearly 25 years ago, a game was released that would burn a lasting impression on the mind of gamers, Shadow of the Beast on the Amiga. It followed a monstrous warrior named Aarbron as he sought revenge against the beast lord that transformed him from a human. Now, Heavy Spectrum Games – a new studio comprised of devs who’ve worked on Need For Speed, Star Fox, Battlefield, and The Sims – is bringing the story to a whole new audience, re-imagining Shadow of the Beast as a hyper violent next-gen adventure.

P.O.L.L.E.N 

Mindfield Games has announced that its first-person space exploration game – P.O.L.L.E.N – will launch on Windows PC with mouse/keyboard and gamepad support on April 20 via Steam and the Humble Store. It will also be available that day on Oculus Rift as a near-final VR beta, which will be fully optimized with updates shortly after release.Below is a gameplay preview released by Mindfield Games.

Leap of Fate

Developed by Montreal-based Clever-Plays, Leap of Fate is a fresh take on the roguelike genre. The Metronomicon

Puuba announced a new rhythm-based RPG named The Metronomicon. This exhilarating fusion of two beloved genres combines the strategy and story-led gameplay of an RPG with the fast paced button tapping action of a rhythm game – all presented with a superb soundtrack featuring an eclectic mix of artists. The Metronomicon features a fantastic, fully-licensed soundtrack featuring some of the hottest electronic, synthwave, chiptune and indie artists, including an exclusive track from Jimmy Urine of Mindless Self Indulgence, and an unreleased track from Shiny Toy Guns, along with tracks from YACHT, Perturbator, J-Punch, DJ CUTMAN, and many, many more.

Goliath

Goliath is coming to Steam on May 12, 2016. An open-world, action-adventure game with crafting and role-playing elements, Goliath is set in a universe where players build and customize massive robots to overcome the challenges they face.

The Skies

The Skies is a free-to-play first-person MMORPG blending in shooter elements and set in an open-world post-apocalyptic environment. Players will experience complete freedom and be able to forge their own path via a fully customizable role system and a non-linear quest system. Player choice will influence not only their own development and interactions, but also other players’ representation of the game world. Open Steam Early Access will be available on 16th April 2016 and introduce players to the game’s Alpha version, including all gameplay functionalities.

Epistory, an atmospheric adventure with a distinct origami aesthetic, is now available through Steam, Mac and Linux. Epistory’s tale is advanced entirely through an intuitive keyboard-only control scheme. Players unleash powerful magic, solve brain-teasing puzzles, attack menacing foes, explore dangerous environments and even navigate menus solely via typing.

Special Tactics

Special Tactics is an intense, simultaneous tactical action-shooter getting its full release on Steam on April 26th priced at £10.99. Behind a finely tuned combat system designed specifically to allow a wide array of strategic approaches and combat engagement styles, Special Tactics delivers a balanced and nuanced tactical action experience across multiple single-player and multiplayer modes including Campaign, Survival and Squad-based Multiplayer.

CTU

As a member of the CTU – Counter Terrorism Unit, you will be under fire and under pressure as you are deployed to several dangerous locations to detain a rising criminal threat. Anyone can fire a gun, but there are only a few who can bring down a suspect with intimidating presence, and force them to lay down their weapons and surrender. CTU – Counter Terrorism Unit hits the shelves on 22nd April, 2016.

Mercenary Week

Mercenary Week is an Action RPG that blends strategy elements through the Hybrid RTS system. The Player can draw the path on the screen and allied characters can be directed along the path drawn on the screen. Mercenary Week is slated for release in 2016 for PS4, with a chance of a PC version coming later down the line.
