Sword Legacy: Omen
Team17 has today announced its first partnership in South America with Brazil-based independent developers Firecast Studio and Fableware Narrative Design to publish Sword Legacy: Omen, a challenging turn-based tactical RPG with a dark, cartoon-inspired aesthetic. Sword Legacy: Omen will launch on PC in 2017.
Last Day of June
Today, 505 Games have announced a date for the critically acclaimed emotional interactive journey game Last Day of June. The game will be globally launching on Playstation & PC on 31st August at a retail price of £14.99. Pre orders start today and the PS4 version is currently offered at 25% off. Last Day of June reveals core mechanics of the meaningful narrative, in which players discover portals to the past that allow them to unlock and become characters intertwined in June’s story. Each character will present new emotionally challenging puzzles to solve, as June’s bereaved husband Carl attempts to turn back time and save her life.

Augmented Empire
Coatsink’s cyberpunk RPG Augmented Empire will launch exclusively on Samsung Gear VR (powered by Oculus) on July 13th 2017. Augmented Empire takes place on the island of New Savannah, an isolated neo-noir city divided into three tiers by the Citizen Grade System. While the citizens deemed of high societal value live in luxury at the summit, outliers and criminals are forced to live in squalor at the island’s depths.

The answer of course is yes, but it needs to be an innovative take on the genre. In this multi-part developer diary, Game Designer Joan Amat and Gameplay Programmer Hernan Ojuel guide us through the basics of Raiders of the Broken Planet. They take a deep dive into the game’s unique features: its characters, abilities, perk systems and weapons before they jump into 4-player co-op match that gets invaded by an antagonist in the following episode.
