Lots of trailers for enjoyment today, due to the start of Gamescom in Germany. Well, cut the chatter, let’s get on with the trailers for the 16th August, 2016.
Final Fantasy XV
Three new videos from the Final Fantasy XV Universe were released today, including an action packed gameplay video from the opening chapters of Final Fantasy XV . A new trailer for BROTHERHOOD Final Fantasy XV Episode 4 and the first 12 minutes of the highly acclaimed CG animated movie, KINGSGLAIVE: Final Fantasy XV were also revealed today.
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
Zombies dudes and dudettes rejoice. Activision and Infinity Ward today unveiled Zombies in Spaceland, the undead survival co-op mode launching on November 4 with Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Immersing players in an all-new 1980s setting with a most excellent soundtrack from the era, Zombies in Spaceland transports fans into an original, action-packed storyline where they’ll fight as one of four classic ‘80s characters and battle the living dead in a space-themed amusement park full of deadly zombies, fun attractions and much more.
The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk
The Inner World – The Last Wind Monk is the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2014 adventure game The Inner World and takes the players onto yet another crazy journey in the world of Asposia, with the most absurd characters, ingenious puzzles and hilarious encounters not from this dimension.

Grow Up
Today, Ubisoft announced that Grow Up, the new acrobatic adventure game and sequel to 2015’s Grow Home is now available digitally worldwide for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. Created by a small team at Reflections, players must guide cute little robot BUD around a lush alien planet rich with flora, fauna and four Star Plants in order to rebuild his parental spaceship, MOM. Following a lunar accident involving an extremely uneven game of tic-tac-toe, MOM’s parts are scattered across the planet. BUD has no choice but to embark on a dizzying mission as he leaps, rolls, bounces and flies across floating islands and through four diverse biomes to collect each piece and reunite with MOM on the moon.
Gears of War 4
In this short gameplay demo through the “”Rescue”” chapter of Gears of War 4, our heroes JD, Kait and Del are chasing an unknown enemy through an old fort. Along the way, they encounter two fierce Swarm enemies – Drones and Pouncers – for the first time.
A.O.T. Wings of Freedom
KOEI TECMO today confirmed that the narrative within A.O.T. Wings of Freedom will extend beyond the events of the first season of Attack on Titan. A brand new launch trailer has been revealed alongside the announcement in anticipation of the upcoming release of the fast-paced action game based on the hugely successful manga and anime series Attack on Titan. A.O.T. Wings of Freedom will release on the 26th August 2016.
HITMAN
HITMAN Episode 4: Bangkok goes live today, taking players to the first Asian location of the season. The “Club 27” mission transports players to the opulence and splendour of the Himmapan luxury hotel and resort, situated on the Chao Phraya River outside Bangkok. Your targets are rising rock star Jordan Cross, front man of trending indie band The Class, and Cross’ family lawyer, Ken Morgan. Both are currently residing at the luxury hotel as the band finishes its highly-anticipated sophomore album.
Drone Swarm
In Drone Swarm, which is being developed in close collaboration with the community and exclusively for PC, the player takes the role of the commander of the mothership “ARGO”. On his ship, he travels the universe on a desperate search for a new habitat for destroyed Earth’s few survivors. To save humanity, the player has to control and guide an armada of thousands of drones and apply unique tactics in his fight against foreign alien races.
Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
Atlus dropped some battle strategies in the latest Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse trailer.

Microsoft and Armature Studio have released the Gamescom 2016 trailer for ReCore.

Silence

Evolve Stage 2
2K and Turtle Rock Studios continue the month-long “Shear Madness” event in Evolve Stage 2. Today’s update includes the new Character Variant, Renegade Abe and a new Map Variant ‘Overpowered’ to prepare both hunters and monsters alike for the upcoming Overpowered Weekend event. Beginning this Friday, August 19th at 10am PDT and running until Monday, August 22nd at 10am PDT, players will earn both 10X Silver Keys and 10X XP during a hunt match to propel them and their characters to new heights of supremacy. Epic Games today launched the Open Beta for its free-to-play MOBA, Paragon, on PlayStation 4 and PC. Deck13’s upcoming sci-fi Action RPG The Surge is showcased today in a 15-minute gameplay video, demonstrating the combat mechanics and crafting integral to the core gameplay experience.
Space Rift
In part five of the making-of series of Space Rift – Episode 1, publisher bitComposer and developer Vibrant Core talk about VR technology and the platforms on which Space Rift – Episode 1 is available. Space Rift is a VR optimized title that offers players all common control options for VR. Both game controllers of current VR platforms and the classic control with a gamepad can be used in order to take control of the ship in the VR space adventure. Players can now check out the demo version of Space Rift – Episode 1 for free and dive directly into the fascinating VR universe.
UNO
Today, Ubisoft and Mattel announced that UNO, the successful colour and matching card game, is now available for download for PlayStation 4 and on Xbox One. The PC version of UNO the video game will be available for download later this quarter.
LEGO Dimensions
Warner Bros. revealed today at Gamescom that starting in late September 2016, LEGO Dimensions Starter Packs for PlayStation 4 will include an exclusive, bonus DC Comics Supergirl LEGO minifigure for a limited time. The highly collectable Supergirl LEGO minifigure has many extraordinary in-game abilities to help solve puzzles and battle enemies, including Super Strength, Flying, X-Ray Vision, and Beam Attacks which enable her to shoot heat beams out of her eyes. She can also transform into Supergirl Girl Red Lantern with additional abilities such as firing powerful Red Lantern energy bolts and energy beams from the Red Lantern Ring and forming Red Lantern Energy Constructs.
Heavy Metal Machines
Premier Brazilian game developer and publisher Hoplon today announces their most ambitious project to date, the upcoming high-octane vehicular combat game, Heavy Metal Machines. Slated for a mid-2017 release on Windows PC (with console to follow), Heavy Metal Machines will be playable for the first time in North America during the upcoming PAX West 2016 convention in Seattle, Washington.
