World of Final Fantasy
Ahead of its launch on PlayStation 4 and Vita later this month, Square Enix announced that on 17th October, fans can preview the upcoming World of Final Fantasy in a free playable demo available to download from the PlayStation Store. The playable demo will allow players to experience Lann and Reynn in their Lilikin and Jiant forms, meet various different mirages and encounter a selection of iconic Final Fantasy characters along the way, including Cloud, Lightning and Squall. Completing the demo allows players to unlock Magitek Armor P in the Coliseum to battle and capture in the full version of the game.
Mantis Burn Racing
Established UK based indie developer VooFoo Studios announce that their TIGA Award nominated, first self-published game, Mantis Burn Racing, has today officially launched on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam (for Windows PC). The launch trailer for the game can be viewed below.
Black Desert Online
Black Desert Online receives ranger class awakening and underwater update. This week the Ranger unlocks her true potential and awakens, claiming the last gift of the Goddess: the Kamasylven Sword. Though she is already light on her feet, this weapon will allow her to move like the wind, slicing down her foes, or leaping away to pierce them with her deadly aim. The Ranger is quite mobile, flowing from melee to long range effortlessly. The introduction of the Kamasylven Sword not only increases her versatility on the battlefield, but grants her a new level of control over her enemies. She can dash into the fray, causing mayhem and confusion with every movement of her blade, then leap away, knocking her foes back as she does so, in order to rain down death with her bow.

Created by veterans from SEGA, BioWare, and Electronic Arts, Atomic Space Command is a spaceship battle arena game launching on Steam Early Access October 13th. Join the fray ahead of the crowd in this fast-paced PvP battler for PC, Mac, and Linux.
Exile’s End
Exile’s End is a dark and futuristic 2D sidescroller offering adventure-style puzzles, tightly-controlled platforming, and dangerous extraterrestrials. The game was developed as an homage to early ’90s action-adventure PC games, drawing heavy gameplay inspiration from classics of the genre as well as thematic influence from ’80s sci-fi films and anime. Boasting uniquely stylized cutscenes, multiple endings, and an atmospheric soundtrack by Keiji Yamagishi of Ninja Gaiden and Tecmo Super Bowl fame, Exile’s End will have players investigate a massive, interconnected alien world and experience a story filled with ancient riddles and modern-day hubris. Backed by Japanese publisher Marvelous Inc. and originally released for Windows PC, Mac and Linux via Steam, Exile’s End is a collaboration between Tokyo-based indie game developer Matt Fielding and many talented local industry veterans, including art by staff from titles such as Secret of Mana, Mother 3 and more. Exile’s End will enter orbit digitally on PS4 and Vita in North America on October 25, 2016 for $9.99 with European release details coming later.
Eventide 2: Sorcerer’s Mirror
Eventide 2: Sorcerer’s Mirror, a sequel to Eventide: Slavic Fable will launch on most platforms on 13 October. The Sorcerer’s Mirror presents another chapter of the adventures of Mary, a botanist from the first Eventide. This time Mary has to release her niece Jenny from the clutches of Tvardovsky the immortal wizard, who kidnapped the girl during a trip into the mountains. Mary will do everything to rescue this girl – she will venture into an ancient forest filled with a mysterious power and walk along the steep mountain paths and the ruins, where she’ll meet imps, phantoms, and other mystical creatures from Eastern and Central European fairy tales. To defeat the sorcerer, she’ll have to solve the mystery of the enchanted village and make very unusual allies, such as the famous 17th-century outlaw Yanosik. Will she reveal the secrets of Master Tvardovsky before it’s too late?
BATMAN – The Telltale Series
Today the release date for BATMAN – The Telltale Series Episode 3: New World Order has been discovered. Global publisher My.com and developer NetEase announce the anticipated first closed beta test of Revelation Online, a new MMO set in a seamless fantasy open world. Owners of beta keys and founder packs will set off on exploring the exciting world of Nuanor. The first Beta test will run from October 25 – November 8 and will take players through the story narrative all the way to level 49. Players will be given access to 3v3 training and ranking arenas, 10v10 battlegrounds, Hot Springs zone, and four dungeons with various difficulty levels: Trial of the Four Kings, Darkfall, Deserted Shrine, and Misty Hollow.
