Endless Space 2

In preparation for this year’s Gamescom 2016, the award-winning development team Amplitude Studios, recently acquired by SEGA, has pulled back the curtain today on two new integral factions from its upcoming turn-based, 4X space-strategy game, Endless Space 2. The Sophons and Cravers return from their debut in Endless Space and will be available in the Steam Early Access version releasing this summer. These two new videos demonstrate the curious, analytical and knowledge-seeking Sophons – hazardously driven by their thirst to discover and understand – and the dangerous, all-consuming insectoid lifeforms, the Cravers.

Phantaruk

Phantaruk is an first-person survival horror that takes place on a derelict spaceship somewhere in the vast emptiness of space. The player – a victim of experiments – is infected with a parasite constantly attacking him from the inside with deadly toxins. The player must learn what happened on the ship and how to escape it, but toxins are not his only problem. A mythical beast – Phantaruk – is constantly following him and posing the deadliest threat. The game launches on Steam on August 16th, 2016 for $11.99.

MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death

Five Machina Mages fight to wind the Planet Key first in MeiQ: Labyrinth of Death.  This opening movie introduces Estra, Flare, Maki, Connie, and Setia, as well as their enigmatic enemies, the Three Shadows and Gagarin the Dark Machina Mage. The dungeon-crawling RPG game comes out on Vita September 13/16 (NA/EU) in both physical and digital formats, and will also be compatible with the PlayStation TV.

WRC 6

PQube announced that they will be working with Bigben to handle the distribution of WRC 6, the official 2016 FIA World Rally Championship game, in the UK. WRC 6 is coming to the UK this October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

Swedish game developer Stunlock Studios demonstrate what they think makes their virtual reality observer a killer experience and superior to current blockbuster games. In the new and upcoming Battlerite, the developers want spectators to literally become a part of the roaring crowd.

Strikers Edge

Strikers Edge is a multiplayer battle arena game where the players fight as ancient warriors. Opponents stand in opposite sides of an arena, fighting each other with ranged weapons.
Dodge, take cover, aim and scorch the earth with devastating blows! Strikers Edge will be available in fall 2016 on PC and PlayStation 4.

Robinson: The Journey

With development for Robinson: The Journey in full swing, Crytek sent Robinson developers to the Senckenberg Natural History Museum in Frankfurt to discuss VR, the inspiration behind the game, and dinosaurs. Robinson was built from the ground-up for VR, and the possibilities the medium offers were key in driving the team’s development choices while creating this first-person sci-fi adventure game. “It ticks off all the sci-fi boxes,” said Producer Elijah Freeman. “It has an alien planet, dinosaurs, and robots. You can’t get a better game than that.

Bandai Namco Europe announced a worldwide publishing agreement with Tarsier Studios for a brand new IP called Little Nightmares. This dark whimsical tale will confront your childhood fears as you help a girl in a yellow raincoat escape The Maw – a vast, mysterious vessel inhabited by corrupted souls looking for their next meal.

Legend of the Skyfish

Legend of the Skyfish is a beautiful action adventure puzzle game with a unique weapon and tool – a fishing pole! Follow the intrepid Little Red Hook on her journey with the Moonwhale to defeat the monstrous Skyfish.  Legend of the Skyfish is launching next Thursday, August 18th on iOS and Apple TV.

The Huntsman: Winter’s Curse

The Huntsman: Winter’s Curse, an adventure RPG with collectible card game elements featuring an original story set in Universal Studios’ Huntsman universe, will debut its tale of heroic courage to PlayStation 4 owners in America on August 16. The Huntsman will come to PlayStation 4 in Europe and the Oceanic on August 23.

Auralux: Constellations

Developer War Drum Studios today announced that Auralux: Constellations, the sequel to the best-selling strategy game Auralux, will launch on August 25 for iOS and Android devices.  Auralux: Constellations is a pure strategy game that is deceptively simple, stripping away cumbersome tech trees and specialized units.
