The news we missed this week

It’s Sunday and once again DarkZero is here to tell you about the news we missed this week, if you’re just dying to find out what we missed last week click here. Without further ado here are five random news items we missed throughout the week.

BAK2

It was announced via Arkham Knights community page on Steam, (we shall tip our hat to GameSpot), that the PC version of the game will be receiving a patch by the end of October. The patch will make all of the game’s currently available DLC, bar platform exclusive DLC, playable on PC. In other good news for PC fans of the Arkham series the game should be available to purchase again by the end of the month, it was previously taken from the market after a disastrous launch.

Lara Croft is gaining the ability to utilize explosive chickens in a pre-order bonus for Rise of the Tomb Raider. Yup you read that right, The Holy Fire Card Pack comes with the Apex Predator pre-order bonus from GameStop and allows Lara to use chickens as hand grenades to break through barriers and take out a cluck load of enemies at a time… sorry. The pack also contains four other cards, but by comparison they’re hardly worth reporting on.

MYY

We’ve been following the adventures of the Mega Yarn Yoshi amiibo since its initial announcement.  Well Toys “R” Us have confirmed that the amiibo will be exclusive to their stores in North America, and that it will be available on the 15th of November. The amiibo will also be able to function with Yoshi’s Woolly World.

If you felt the only things lacking in GTA Online were lowriders and more Lamar then you’ll be happy to see you’ll be getting both on October 20th. Check out the trailer above.

PC

It’s always good to end on a high point and Neogaf user MauroNL has provided one. It looks like mainland Europe will be getting a €50 PS4 price cut just like the UK, Japan, and the USA already have. In fact many Dutch retailers have already put a price cut version of the console up for pre-order and state it will be available on the 21st of October, so expect an announcement at Paris Games Week.

That is that, five pieces of news DarkZero missed throughout the week. Make sure you check back next Sunday for the five news items we’ll more than likely miss next week!
