The Last of Us and Left Behind DLC coming to PS4 this summer – Sony VP reveals game early?
It looks like the Turkey is out of the bag. CNN Turkey featured an interview with Sony VP Sercan Sulan, and it looks like we can expect the game later this summer.
The question is asked in the 36th minute, and, according to a rough translation by a NeoGAF member, the 36th minute of the video has this exchange between one of the interviewers and the VP:
- “Will we see the The Last of Us sequel soon?”
- No, sequel is not coming right now as far as I know but I can say that first game will be released this summer for PS4 as a physical and digital copy, with enhanced graphics.”
This should be taken as a rumor until Sony definitely confirms it, but it appears that the game will feature the graphic and technological upgrade we all expect from a port of this importance. Surprisingly, The Last of Us is a featured game for Sony’s PlayStation Now service, so it remains to be seen how a digital and physical release will tie into their plans for the service.
More information as we get it.
