Rise of the Tomb Raider DLC, and Fun Stuff

Rise of the Tomb Raider is launching on November 10th in America, that’s alongside Bethesda’s mammoth of a game Fallout 4, and on the 12th in Europe, but guess what! The game will be supported post-launch with DLC. You can grab all the DLC at once in a $30 season pass, should you wish to. What does the DLC for Lara’s single player adventure entail? Well an “Endurance Mode” alongside “Baba Yaga: The Temple of the Witch” which gives you a new tomb to explore. Wait there’s more! You’ll also get “Cold Darkness Awakened” which is a survival mode, and “in-game content” which will consist of outfits, weapons, and all that malarkey. You can also get all this along with The Remnant Resistance pack in the $90 Deluxe Edition.

Then there’s the fun stuff that doesn’t cost you any extra money. Tomb Raider’s longevity will be expanded not via a tacked on multiplayer but through additional single-player modes. What are these? Firstly there’s “Score Attack” which lets you replay the game against the clock as you chain together attacks, and so on to get high score. Then there’s “Remnant Resistance” which lets players replay the game’s HUB sections with new goals. Then there’s “Chapter Replay” which lets you replay any of the games chapters with all of the equipment you’ve unlocked thus far.
