Ratchet Clank Hd Trilogy

Ratchet and Clank HD Collection US release date confirmed by Amazon?

Update:

IGN contacted Sony about the Amazon listing, and here’s what the company had to say: “While we haven’t announced a specific launch date yet, we have confirmed that the Ratchet & Clank Collection will be released this summer in the U.S.”

Since Summer technically ends on September 21st, it appears the Amazon listing is incorrect. We’re excited to know that the release date is for Summer 2012, and can’t wait to play the game.

Here’s the original article:

As an update to our previous article, it appears from an Amazon posting that the Ratchet and Clank HD Collection is going to be released near the beginning of the fall quarter.

The exact date? October 2nd. It’s not a placeholder that Amazon typically uses, and it aligns perfectly with what Insomniac has been saying about the game all along. Additionally, the date aligns with a Tuesday, the date all major video games release in North America. Even better news is that the game will retail for only $29.96, a great deal considering you’re receiving HD updates to some of the greatest action platformers ever made. The collection’s been receiving glowing reviews from the European release, and we can’t wait to see it on American shores.

Expect to see an official announcement from Insomniac soon regarding the game. More details as we get them.
