Playstation 4’s are having prices cut in North America

This November will be the second year that the Playstation 4 has been out on the market in Canada and the United States. There have been a lot of games, and a lot of fans have gotten ahold of the system, but Sony wants more players this holiday. To make this happen they are dropping the price of the console. Announced today on the Playstation blog, Starting tomorrow the base Playstation 4 will be $50 US dollars cheaper and $20 Canadian Dollars. Other bundles, such as the Call of Duty and Disney Infinity bundles, are going to be receiving different price cuts which can be seen in the graphic below.

While the Playstation 4 does not have many first-party exclusives this holiday, this price drop brings the Playstation 4 down to the same price of the Xbox One in the United States.
