Phil Harrison takes over Molyneux’s role at Microsoft Game Studios Europe

GamesIndustry report that former PlayStation bigwig Phil Harrison has entered full betrayalton mode, and has  joined Microsoft – taking over Peter Molyneux’s recently vacated role as Creative Director of Microsoft Game Studios

No offical word from Microsoft as of yet, but Eurogamer say they have independent sources that back up GamesIndustry’s claims.

Since his time with Sony in 2008, Harrison went on to team up with Atari and and a group called London Venture Partners – who are specialists in games investment.

Harrison played a big part in the debut of PlayStation Home and laid the groundwork for games like LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, Resistance, Infamous to be released during his time with Sony.
