Metal Gear Solid V

Kojima confirms it – The Phantom Pain and Ground Zeroes are Metal Gear Solid V

At the GDC convention today, Kojima has confirmed the systems that Metal Gear Solid V will be coming to – and it’s good news for Microsoft players.

For the first time, it looks like 360 owners will be able to enjoy a MGS title at the same time as their Sony counterparts. Even better, we now have an idea as to what the official title of the next MGS game:

MEtal Gear SOlid V

At the GDC convention today, Kojima has confirmed it – they’re two halves of the same game.

Additionally, everything about the trailer discussed today is running on PC, not future-gen or current-gen specifications. The biggest news, however, is that the game will be coming to the Xbox 360. That single news is the biggest surprise of GDC thus far, and assures us that Kojima may even be planning to keep releasing MGS titles on future Microsoft titles as well. Of course, the title is confirmed for PS3 as well. There’s been no word on next-generation titles, but we can probably expect an update about those systems closer or at E3.

More information as we get it!
