It takes 402 cupcakes to fix Mass Effect 3’s ending – apparently
Over on Bioware’s official forums, fans of the Mass Effect series have decided cupcakes will fix Mass Effect 3’s ending.
Cupcakes really do fix everything – and make me feel happy inside!
Members of the forum got together, and donated $1,005 to the Paypal account of one user. With that money in tow, that member was able to go to Fusscupcakes.com (which is located close to Bioware’s offices), and order 402 cupcakes to be sent to Bioware’s Canadian office in Edmonton, Alberta.
That $1,005 let them do a bit extra too.
“Every single person who contributes, will be able to write a brief note to be attached to the cupcakes. We will also, as a community, write a letter from all of us to Bioware. All the cupcakes will be divided into equal parts Red, Blue and Green colors… but they will all taste exactly the same,” comments the message on the site.
Each colour cupcake will have either A, B, or C written on them, which is a jibe at executive producer Casey Hudson’s recent statement on the game’s ending.
“It’s not even in any way like the traditional game endings, where you can say how many endings there are or whether you got ending A, B, or C…The endings have a lot more sophistication and variety in them,” he commented.
I am hungry now.
