Infinite Arms hands-on at E3

Infinite Arms is the toys-to-life game not just aimed at kids. It’s being developed by Jumo who have talent from the likes of Halo, Gears of War and Mass Effect.

The game uses big articulated robot toys to access in-game characters. The twist is that by plugging in different weapons to the toys they instantly appear equipped in the game.

The game is played on tablets but looks more like a third-person console shooter game than Flappy Bird or its kindred. There are a series of campaign levels and the ability to play an online versus mode against other players.

Most impressive is the lack of latency with the tech. The instant you plug on a weapons it’s their and available in the game. You can also intricately upgrade each weapon giving the whole thing a hard-core RPG feel.
