Halloween DLC coming to Rocket League

If Halloween frightens you as much as it frightens us then you’ll be delighted to know Psyonix have announced, via the PS Blog, that Halloween themed DLC is coming to Rocket League. Come Halloween this is the perfect excuse to hide away indoors avoiding all of the spooky things outside. However there is a twist, you can’t buy this DLC instead you have to unlock it at random by playing matches.

The items will appear as post-match drops, whether you win or lose, and once you find them they’re yours to keep. The event starts on the 18^th of October and ends on the 2^nd of November, unfortunately if you don’t get an item by the closing date you’ll have to wait until next year to try again.

Here’s what you can unlock: Calavera (antenna), Candy Corn (rocket trail), Carriage (wheels), Fuzzy Brute (antenna), Fuzzy Vampire (antenna), and Pumpkin (topper). The only way to make sure you get something is by playing as much Rocket League as you can between the 18^th and the 2^nd, fortunately the game is very good. One last thing is don’t forget that the Revenge of the Battle Cars pack due out on the 13^th of October.
