while it is truem that What is now known as the UK and ireland were heavily raided by the vikings.. Scandinavia was not raided by them thus meaning..we did not pick up their language or aspects. Im norwegian, and was quite disappointed to listen to this game..If i wanted Braveheart, I would have bought that. I agree with this review on many points

this is a terrible review. tame? the violence in this is TAME? are you insane? hacking off limbs, decapitation etc etc i actually used this game in a paper i wrote as a benchmark for how the industry is so blaze (accent on the e) about violence in video games and so uptight about sexual content.

on the accents of the characters; i do not see why this is such a big deal. ever watched star trek? interesting how every alien sounds like they are american? oh wait…but that totally destroys the whole tv series coz they should be gurgling away in some incomprehensible alien tongue and have subtitles for us poor humans…as a side note the vikings invaded the british isles numerous times after the fall of the roman empire and infact king harold had just gotten back from fighting the vikings at stamford bridge when william arrived. AND WAS INFACT OF SCANDANAVIAN DESCENT HIMSELF. so the histories of britain and scandanavia are closely linked.

anyway…for me…personally…this is one of the best games on xbox360 at the moment, along side overlord. i give it 8/10 the graphics are beautiful the action is fun and plenty gory, the story may be so so but the visual splendor and visceral gameplay more thna make up for it.
