I bought this game awhile back but never really played it because it would not go on full screen. i looked up some cheats for it and it said to put it on full screen the code is (-f) if anyone knows what (-f) means please email me ASAP thank you

When i try foing to the sims settings to see if i can full screen or scroll on the screen there are no options that work. The “edge scrolling” is blocked off for me to even click. I want it to where i can move the mouse where ever on the screen. Help?

i dont know i dont think there is ghosts on this game i havent encountered any so far i have worked out that some custom conten and mods work well with it but only base game custom content and with mods the open for buisness AND base game mods work well so does the inteenimator and insiminator sorry bout the massive post but i didnt want to sit here and write heaps of posts

I was just sharing my experience with trying to get the game running on a typical laptop. It wouldn’t run at all, but it may work for you.

Now Sims 3 has come out, I’d expect that to be a better bet if your laptop meets the required specs.

um is this game good because i was going to by it for my laptop but then “ben” said ‘The ‘laptop friendly’ aspect is not so friendly…

ok i get to the loading page on this game and when it says loading the harlow family the game will crash any ideas on how to get this game to work. i tryed erasing other games on my computer to get more memory but nothing works plz plz help

Ok- remember in the other Sims games you could move your mouse to an area of the lot and the screen would go that way?
Why wont it do it in this one? And what do I do? I can Decorate my house without the scoll.. Please e-mail me ASAP because I just bought this game today and because of that I’m ready to take it back.

It has been a while since I played this but have you tried going to game settings and changing the resolution?

There may also be an optional fullscreen checkbox in settings.

The ‘laptop friendly’ aspect is not so friendly…
