This game is one of my favourite of all time. I love zombies (have done since I first saw the original Dawn of the Dead back in the 80s (yes I’m old) and this is a great zombie shooting game. But it also has a fabulous sense of humour and the game makers have really worked hard to pack the story line and graphics with homages to great movies.

Yes some of the humour is adult only and if you object to the use if the F word then it’s not for you. Also be prepared for some adult subject matter – and oh that ending!

It’s a short game but then again it’s a House of the Dead game – I’ve played them all in the arcades and they only last an hour at best. The Wii struggles to keep up with the frame rate at times (and one playing seemed to give graphically requiring a reboot to restore it to full colour) but the scratchy grindhouse film look, cheesy overdone intro and 70s horror mvie tributes make it a game I’ll forgive its weaknesses and play over and over again alone and with friends.

Just finished playing this recently, and it’s undoubtedly the best lightgun game I have ever played. The pace of the level design and the ingeniously hideous bosses work wonders.

I’m not usually a fan of juvenile humour, but the characterisation has been done well, and somehow it all just comes together.

I finished it over the weekend…. I see what you mean Sean…. how disturbed?!?! I nearly couldn’t see properly with laughing so hard! Great game! Will definately be getting Madworld, about time we got some decent adult games on the Wii!

I LOVE THIS GAME!! It’s got to be one of the best lightgun shooters I’ve played! I love the B-Movie style they’ve gone for, it’s like being in a Grindhouse film!

I know the visuals could be a bit better, but that doesn’t bother me as I have way too much fun blasting away on it. I only wish there was a way to switch the language off so I could play it with my young nephews, but hey, they’ll have to wait till they’re older to enjoy this game! Excellent!
