I'm at 54% too when I have to imtimidate that Seth Uriya guy it freezes when I hit triaagle... It's not even really a freeze, the game moves really slowly and never does anything, I can't even pause

It would be a great game if it were not for the faults, I have completed 54% of the game and have come to a full stop because although I have completed my mission the game refuses to recognize this fact and i can not progress any further as it wont let me get another mission. come on Ubisoft get your finger out and fix it.

I purchased the game and enjoy it. It does get somewhat monotonous as far as the travels, but taking the bus makes fast work of this. However, the annoyance is that I have hit 88% completion, and a bug in the game makes it freeze. Check out other forums and you'll see I'm not the only one. Ubisoft is supposedly working on a fix for this, but has yet to release it...but it certainly had time to release a weapons and vehicles pack! WTF? I'm ready to complete the game. UBISOFT, get off your *sses and fix the game already!

Good, honest review.

However, like all the reviews I've read, there's little mention of the small mountain of subjectively bad design choices. Take a look at the UbiSoft FarCry 2 forum for the tidal wave of complaints registered. From the fact FC2 has no lean or prone, yet has a unique 'slide in home' feature. To the animals the instantly die if they touch your vehicle, even when you're not moving. To one SINGLE animation that fixes ALL the problems you have with your vehicle. To the ultra tight field of view limitation on the PC version. To the hyper spawning AI, (you clear and utterly destroy an outpost, leave, return in 5 minutes, and it's COMPLETELY repaired and fully stocked with enemy.)
I can continue, but just visit the FC2 board for a clear picture.

Best, most honest review I've seen so far, as someone else mentioned, too many reviewers and gamers (including myself) were drawn to the technological appeal of this game, I was a huge fan of the original Far Cry. But it seems most of the reviewers only played the game for a short while because after the first few hours you start to realize how repetitive the game is. After you get past the "propagating fire", you realize the game offers nothing new to the genre.

You're undercover, that's why they are attacking you.

You can fix Jeep/cars by pressing Y (360), Triangle (PS3), E (PC)

It does get better if you play it a bit more, but still it can be annoying.

I can't stand the game, I just started it and allready I'm sick of walking back and to, sometimes my car dies and I'm left walking for ages.

I also seem to be getting attacked by both factions even though I do missions for one, this game makes no sense.

Nice to see a balanced review of this game. To many reviewers seem to be brainwashed by the sparkly bits.
