Great review for a great game – I’ve been an addict for some time now.
One thing that’s worth pointing out. It would be wise to invest in a reasonably big TV if you want to play Everybody’s Golf. After evenings over at my mate’s house, with the benefit of a 42″ Samsung TV, I took the plunge and bought a PS3 just so I could play this game at home. Sadly I’ve been using a pretty cheap 21″ LCD TV and at times (especially on the greens of the Okinawa course) reading the borrow is close to impossible. The animated borrow lines are close in colour to the greens themselves. I should stress this is due to limitations of the TV screen, not the game. Similarly there are occasions when clicking 100% on the ghost club in Advanced Swing mode depends on guesswork.
I’ve managed to secure a 37″ LCD TV for less than £300 now – a stroke (excuse the pun) of luck really – but for that money you should be able to get a decent 32″ screen, and it will make the gameplay far more manageable.
