this is a nice review, and i bat the game and experiencing it with the best armor/weapon, and it is truly a good game, id give it a 10, the only drawback it repetiveness, which can be very easily overlooked. ad i think its the only game with virtually no bugs/glitches in it.

I’m playing this game with my son (we play kind of like a tag team, swapping the controller from time to time) and I can honestly say we’ve jumped several times, felt a growing sense of dread about what’s around the next corner and found some truly disturbing images when we do take that step.

I’ve played a lot of horror games and Dead Space is an absolute treat graphically and also delivers a great atmosphere. Switch off the lights and get ready to be scared!

Good review, you just forgot that there is a quick heal button (square for the ps3) that lets you use health packs without having to go through the inventory,so theres actually no problem to heal yourself in combat.

I just got around to finishing this just now… credits are rolling as I write this…

The bit at the end of the final cutscene made me jump, did not expect it.

I’ve finished it now. At level 9 i was getting a bit bored, to be honest – all getting a bit samey – but the last 2 levels are great. It makes my top 3 games of the year.

I’m playing this right now, It’s feeling a bit repetitive but still a great game. An 8 is fair Imo.
