I dont really care what thomas has to say because in the long run I enjoyed beating the game and it was hard at times but thats what I liked most about it. I also like the online play, I just wish people would understand its only a game and quit crying and talkin shit when they get owned.

A typical verdict, COD3 was Treyarch's too, so i've kinda got into a cycle of only caring about every other COD.. the Infinity Ward version.

Same problems with CODWOW by the looks of things then, its not finished and they rushed it out for christmas.

Maybe it was my youth but this never happened on the PS1/2 mainly because games wern't as big buisiness blockbuster money makers they are now and developers were more motivated by artistic licence and pride than publisher pressure and money.

Theres no way back now weve opened up the world of patches and big business but at least the crappier hollywood films tend to at least be finished before they get into the theatres (Quantum Of Solace withstanding...)

As I said in the review it could be a small personal thing, but it changes the way I play the game for the worse. It makes me have to listen out more, and divert attention away from other things. I am happy for Treyarch to make change, but this time change was not good.

The game has more problems that just that though

Because the noises things make actually play a huge part in your ability to determine where they are.

Crazy, I know.

"This small change, to my ear at least, made them notably less distinctive, and I think it was the chief reason for many deaths. I know this may be just a small change, but it is a good example of the little things Infinity Ward manage to get right, giving their iterations of the series the edge in terms of quality."

What does changing the sound of falling grenades have to do with anything?
