Zeno Clash: Ultimate Edition coming to XBLA in March 2010

There just aren’t enough surrealist Dali-esque first-person melee combat games from Chile that allow you to knee an elephantine creature in the face. In fact, surpringly there are none at all on Xbox Live Arcade right now.

Luckily that will be changing next year, as indie studio ACE Team are bringing the Ultimate Edition of Zeno Clash to Microsoft’s digital download service in March. As you can see, this won’t be a straight port of the PC version , it’ll feature “New modes –including all-new cooperative mode for the Tower Challenges –new features, and added content combine with a series of tweaks and improvements based on fan feedback to deliver the definitive version of the critically-acclaimed game.”

The Chilean developers also confirmed that they are still hard at work on the sequel to Zeno Clash. No word yet on whether that would launch on XBLA too, but this probably would depends on the sucesses or failures of the original game.
