Xbox Live Arcade Is DOOM’ed

It is being reported that one of the secret titles (not so secret anymore) that will be announced at the X06 event is id Software’s all-time classic shooter Doom, which will be released for 800MP (around £7) at an unannounced date. Not only will the resolution be upped several times and the sound be in 5.1 Dolby Surround, but it will also include 4 player co-op and on- and offline deathmatch support.

There are some reports that state the game could actually be released today, but that is very unlikely (it could happen though, maybe).
