WiiWare debuts in Japan with nine games
After much talk, hype, and some more talking WiiWare has now gone live in Japan and games are available for all to download. Nine separate games have been made available for the debut of the service. We are not sure what game we’d download first if we could, maybe it might be Dr. Mario. If you’d also like to pretend what game you’d like to download there is a full list of what is available posted below. US and Europe will not be getting WiiWare until May, so we all have some waiting to do. We’ll probably get a vastly different list of games when the services debuts over here too.

How does Nintendo expect people to save these games on there MASSIVE LESS THAN 512 MB of FLASH MEMORY??
I had to delete 5 VC games just to create a save for SSMB.
So as much as I might want some of these games, I refuse to download anymore until nintendo creates a real solution to there storage problems.

Ben you’re stupid that’s what the SD cards are for. So use those for storage dumbass.

In fairness to the other Ben it is a bit of a hassle to start storing things on SD cards and a lot of people won’t be aware they can do this. Even then there are lots of different types of SD card around, descriptions vary between manufacturer (SDHC, Ultra etc) and some of these will be incompatible with the Wii’s card reader. My advice to everyone is when buying SD cards just get cheap regular ones from sites like Play.com.
I’m glad Nintendo have launched WiiWare but I thought the days fiddling with memory cards were behind us.
