Wii To Support Custom Soundtracks?

The Wii may not have a huge HDD to store a whole collection of songs on and it may not be able to connect direct via network to your PC but it does have those small little SD cards. As such this new screenshot of the music menu of Excite Truck seem rather intresting as it lists an SD option which is leading many to assume the possibility of custom soundtracks may now be available for certain Wii games.

While this feature is not yet confirmed by Nintendo it seems like it would be a very smart addition for some games (particularly racers) and with the price of SD cards at an all time low right now it is not going to cost an arm and a leg to have 2GB of music available all times on your Wii. Lets all hope this rumour has some basis in truth but judging by the screenshot it sure does looks very likely.

Or it could just upload the settings for SFX, etc. stored on the SD card.

I find it hilarious that some guy registered to tell us something old. "MAYBE IT'S STILL NOVEMBER THE SECOND, I CAN INFORM THE WORLD IT'S TRUE!"
