Virtua Tennis 2009 makes Andy Murray English, Scottish people angry
Andy Murray is Scottish, we all know that. He is also at times British when he is doing very well, certain TV channels know that too! However, the Sunday Mail report that it seems in Virtua Tennis 2009 Andy Murray is English – or at least both Sega and developer Sumo Digital have mistakenly put an English flag beside his name.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw this on YouTube.” Murray fan Steve Johnstone commented to the Sunday Mail.
“The BBC are always at pains to call Andy British, which is fair enough. But this is a new low.” remarks Tartan Army spokesman Tam Coyle said: “You have to ask yourself what would be worse – Andy being deemed English or Tim Henman being made a Scot.”
Sega have responded to the Daily Mail to say the error will be fixed before the game hits shelves later this year. Phew, that was a close one!
