Last weeks No.1, Football Manager 2010 drops 53% in sales, falling down to third place. This allows FIFA 10 to take back the top spot, despite decreasing in sales by 13%.

Wii Sports Resort climbs seven places (63% more sales), thanks to the best Wii hardware sales so far this year. There was a 57% increase in sales for the White Wii Sports Resort Pack, plus the Black Wii Sports Resort Pack had a strong debut this week.

The highest new entry is Dragon Age Origins on 360 and PC at No.4. The PS3 version won’t be released for another fortnight.

Despite the release of the PS2 and PSP versions, sales of Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 are down 42% overall, with the title falling four places to No.8.

The second-highest new entry is the PS3-exclusive Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time which debuts at No.18. Meanwhile, despite the huge number of platforms it has been released across, Band Hero only manages to enter the charts at No.35. Is the music game market a little over-saturated, perhaps?

At No.20, Ghostbusters: The Video game is actually a re-entry into the charts as the Atari-published versions of the game (on Xbox 360, Wii, DS and PC) join the Sony-published versions, which were released 20 weeks ago.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is still hanging on to the top 40, moving up two places to No.38. It will be interesting to see if it still manages an appearance in next weeks chart, which will herald the launch of the sequel to its sequel, Modern Warfare 2.

After the impressive showing by Wii Sports Resort, the next highest climber is also a Nintendo product, as Mario Kart Wii moves up six places to No.11.

This week’s biggest loser is Batman: Arkham Asylum, which has plummeted fourteen places to No.36.
