UK Sales Chart – Week ending July 19th

After letting some other games share its spotlight, Lego Indy is back at number one again this week. In fact, the hat-wearing adventurer hasn’t left the top 3 since it was released. Nintendo may have disappointed a few people at E3, but that hasn’t stopped them dominating the top of the charts, as multi-format titles are still selling much better on Nintendo platforms.

1. Lego Indiana Jones: Original Adventures (Traveller’s Tales)
2. Wall•E (Helixe)
3. Wii Fit (Nintendo)
4. Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Sora Ltd.)
5. Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo)
6. Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games (Sega)
7. Battlefield: Bad Company (Digital Illusions)
8. Kung Fu Panda (Vicarious Visions)
9. Guitar Hero: On Tour (Vicarious Visions)
10. Top Spin 3 (Pam Development)
11. Beijing 2008 (Eurocom Entertainment)
12. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Neversoft)
13. Grand Theft Auto IV (Rockstar North)
14. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (Konami Digital)
15. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (Infinity Ward)
16. Cooking Guide: Can’t Decide What To Eat? (Nintendo)
17. Unreal Tournament III (Epic Games)
18. Guitar Hero: Aerosmith (Neversoft)
19. Race Driver: GRID (Codemasters)
20. Alone in The Dark (Eden Studios)

Only one new entry to the charts this week, in the form of Guitar Hero: On Tour, which managed to outsell the other two Guitar Hero games in the charts despite being on just one format.

Helped by the film release, Wall•E jumped up ten places from last week, and actually only missed out on the top-spot by only 46 sales! Please, stop buying this game people.
