Ubisoft picks up Massive Entertainment

Massive Entertainment, best known for their work on World in Conflict over the past few years, has being picked up by Ubisoft. The company was put up for sale earlier this summer when Activision merged with Blizzard, and then built their own version of the Death Star to end life as we know it.

Ubisoft is growing at an intense pace and our strategy is to ensure the strength of our global creative teams,” said Christine Burgess-Quemard, Ubisoft’s executive director of worldwide production studios.

Massive has put together a group of some of the most confirmed and recognized creators in the industry and I know that their talent and innovation will allow them to seamlessly integrate into our worldwide network of production studios.

Activision had nothing to say on the matter, other than breathing heavily in a big black suit whilst force-choking Yves Guillemot.
