The Secret Of Monkey Island on the way to XBLA

A new listing on the German ratings board website has confirmed a remake of The Secret Of Monkey Island will be coming to XBLA. The game will go by the name, The Secret Of Monkey Island – Special Edition

As with all XBLA games, expect the title to get some kinda HD facelift before release, although here’s hoping the memorable look of the original game will not be hurt too much.

The Secret Of Monkey Island, which was first released back in 1990. was helmed by the awesome trio of Ron Gilbert, Tim Schafer and Dave Grossman – three men that all went on to deliver top-notch efforts on their own in later years.
