Telltale could work on PS3, iPhone and handhelds in the future

In our recent chat with Telltale, Dave Grossman, the Design Director for season one of Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures, has commented that we could see some recent TellTale games, or possibly something brand new, on PS3 as well as other platforms in the future.
When questioned on why Wallace and Gromit was not considered for PSN Grossman commented: “That’s historical, actually. As it happens, we made a CSI game for the Xbox a while back, so our engine, while it required some work, was already running on the platform.”
“[It’s] Much simpler for us to do a game for a platform we’ve worked on before than to tackle a new one. That said, we’d eventually like to be doing games on every platform known to man, so we may get to the PS3 sooner or later.”
When we mentioned handhelds, in particular DS and iPhone due to their touch interface, things got a bit more surreal, but it seems the developer would also be interested in tackling those platforms as well.
“Every platform known to man” reiterates Grossman. “When we’ve got games running on your programmable coffee maker, I’ll be satisfied. (What would the user interface be like? Interesting…) Seriously, though, the DS and iPhone do seem like they might be appropriate platforms for our stuff, so I’d probably put them higher on the list than the coffee maker.”
We love our coffee maker too, although we are not sure what we would rate it. We did give Fright of the Bumblebees, the first episode of Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures, a 7/10 in our review though.
