Steel Battalion coming to Wii, stupidly large controller gone

At time time of writing, copies of Steel Battalion on the orignal Xbox are selling for around £125 on eBay. If that is a bit to much for you to spend on a game, then you’ll be happy to know that Capcom have announced plans to bring the series to Wii in 2009.

There is a bit of a change this time though, as  this version of the game will not ship with a honking massive controller, and will instead adopt a collection of Wiimote, Nunchuck, Wii Wheel and Wii Board controls to cut costs.

It is believed the game itself will be a remake of the first Xbox title, and not a brand new entry in the series.

If you’ve already played the older Xbox title, then that means you are a bit of a nutter, but we still love you. However, we still have no idea of what all 40 buttons on that thing does.
